James has been a student since he was 7 years old when he signed up at the studio for his first tap class. Being a part Dance Workshop for 30 years has had such a positive impact on his life and so sharing his experiences and training with children that enjoy dance and want to succeed like he did is thrived upon. James is trained in all areas of dance and has competed in national talent competitions all over Long Island up until his third year of teaching when he became a choreographer for competition routines himself. James trained at many conventions and took many classes in the city with different professionals through the years.
